How personal information submitted through this website is collected and used, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What is collected
The contact form on this site collects your name, email address, phone number (optional), and message. No other personal information is collected automatically by this website.
How it's used
Information submitted through the contact form is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, where you go ahead, to arrange and administer therapy sessions (including billing and medical aid claims where applicable). It is not sold, shared, or used for marketing.
Where it's stored
Contact form submissions are stored securely and emailed to the practice. Client and billing records are kept in a separate, password-protected system used only by the practice for administrative purposes.
Third-party services used on this site
A few pages on this site load services run by other companies, which may process some of your information independently of this practice:
- Google Maps (on the contact page) — displays the practice's location. Loading it may share your IP address and general usage data with Google, under Google's own privacy policy.
- Cal.com (the online booking widget on the contact page) — if you choose to book online rather than by phone or email, the name, email address, and requested time you enter are sent directly to Cal.com to schedule and manage the booking, under Cal.com's own privacy policy. Every online booking is reviewed and confirmed by Mandy personally before it's finalised.

This privacy notice covers information submitted through this website only. Clinical/session information is handled separately, under the confidentiality and record-keeping standards set by the HPCSA — see the FAQ for more on confidentiality.
Your rights
Under POPIA, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held about you. To do so, contact mandy@joburgnorthpsychology.co.za.
